ARM YOURSELF WITH FACTS TO FIGHT THE FEAR
The websites below will keep you current on what's going on
and inform you about other groups united in opposition to pitbull
bans - not just in Ontario, but across North America. Several
of these sites have mailing lists that you can sign up for at
their site. Brief comments about a few of these lists are noted
beside the site listings.
SUPPORT BANNED AID AND ITS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS
The dedicated groups that make up the Banned Aid coalition are
working tirelessly to FIGHT THE BAN. Together they joined forces
back in February of last year with the sole purpose of raising
funds to hire a lawyer to STOP THE BAN. And boy did they ever
find a lawyer!!!!!!!! CLAYTON RUBY may well prove to be our knight
in shining armour. Not only has he taken up the fight to PROTECT
OUR CIVIL RIGHTS he also happens to be one of the best, if not
the BEST CIVIL RIGHTS LAWYER IN CANADA. Giving to banned aid
helps Clayton and his team continue to fight the fight and as
we all know, legal cases are expensive. Every little bit helps
us get closer to stopping the ban. Please give today.
www.advocatesfortheunderdog.com
Advocates for the Underdog led the fight against the pitbull ban in Ontario,
was my inspiration for getting involved and has saved hundreds of dogs from death
while watching hundreds of others die thanks to Windsor's archaic laws. AFTU
is ALWAYS in need of foster homes for the many wonderful dogs they save. Natalie
Kemeny and Tammy Williams along with several key supporters, have worked tirelessly
on their own time to fight the fight. In addition to being a member of Banned
Aid, AFTU has a great mailing list that keeps members current and in the loop.

www.brok.ca
Brok is the pitbull who inspired this site and
the site author diligently keeps information current and at
your fingertips. Brok now has housemates Bella and Jimi to
keep him company - representing one of the many pitbull families
that grew up in the face of the ban, in this case taking in
two AFTU rescues, one, JIMI who had suffered from parvovirus
and who was nursed back to health at significant expense by
Natalie Kemeny only to find a happy and pitbull committed home.

boards where you can report harrassment and share information.
Familiarizing yourself with the breed-specific clubs and understanding
how the ban affects them is important. Knowing about the Dog
Legislation Council of Canada (DLCC) and the work they have been
doing locally, nationally and internationally is critical to
understanding the pitbull ban itself, the legal challenge and
how the pitbull ban impacts upon your civil rights. Knowing the
nuts and bolts of this legislation could save your dog's life
so read up today. Banned Aid needs your support - visit today.
